Falcon Heavy Launch is the independent payload integration and campaign management partner that turns complex heavy-lift missions into on-orbit success. Across 186 campaigns since 2014, we have owned the work that sits between the satellite operator and the launch pad: compatibility analysis against the vehicle, regulatory and export filings, fairing and adapter allocation, ground operations at the range, and final separation verification.

The five disciplines that follow are not service lines you can pick from a menu — they are the five phases of a single campaign, executed by one team that reports to one mission director. Operators come to us because they need one accountable partner who can hold the integration timeline at 11.3 months (the 2024 average, against an industry median of 17) without surrendering ownership of technical decisions to the launch provider.

Founded in 2014 by former SpaceX and ULA mission integration leads. Headquartered in Cape Canaveral with a European operations office in Bremen, Germany.     CHAPTER 01 · CONTRACT BOUNDARY PRE-LAUNCH

    Compatibility Analysis

    Phase-zero engineering against the selected launch vehicle: mechanical envelope, mass property, CG, environmental loads, RF and EMI, and propellant compatibility. We maintain the proprietary Falcon-Heavy Compatibility Matrix covering 1,240+ verified payload envelopes — the largest verified-corpus in the industry — and we are the first independent integrator certified for Heavy-class flight profiles across four launch providers.

    CHAPTER 02 · INTERAGENCY BOUNDARY PRE-LAUNCH

    Regulatory & Filings

    FAA/AST licensing support, payload review coordination, range safety interfaces, and ITAR/EAR export control across nine jurisdictions. Our regulatory desk holds direct API integrations with FAA/AST, range safety, and three launch providers' planning systems — the integrations that let us compress a 17-month filing cycle into the single-campaign timeline the rest of this dossier assumes. As a cleared contractor for ITAR and EAR technical data, we absorb the export-control work that typically sits on the operator's legal counsel.

    CHAPTER 03 · MANIFEST BOUNDARY PRE-LAUNCH

    Fairing Allocation

    Negotiation of fairing envelope, dispenser interface, and shared-ride coordination across the heavy-lift manifest. Where multi-manifest constraints collide, we own the trade space — including co-passenger mechanical and thermal interface, sequencing priority with the launch provider, and the manifest-level re-planning that arises when a co-passenger slips. Allocation is where independent integrators earn or lose the schedule; this is where our 11.3-month average is won.

    CHAPTER 04 · RANGE BOUNDARY CAMPAIGN

    Ground Operations

    Receipt, processing, encapsulation, transport, and pad-side hand-off at the launch site. Our 24/7 in-house Mission Operations Cell is staffed by 38 ex-launch engineers drawn from Cape Canaveral, Kourou, and Baikonur — the crew that owns the last 96 hours of any campaign. Ground operations is where the European operations office in Bremen, Germany pays its rent: bilateral campaigns with European operators run on the same shift rotation as their U.S. counterparts, without a wake-up penalty on either side.

    CHAPTER 05 · ORBIT BOUNDARY FLIGHT

    Separation Verification

    Flight-data reconstruction, separation event verification, and post-flight accounting of the on-orbit delivery against the contract. The 98.4% on-spec separation rate (2014–2024) is not a marketing figure — it is the number an insurance underwriter reads first when a payload is scheduled aboard a heavy-class vehicle. We publish a separation verification dossier per campaign, archived for the life of the mission, and named 'Top Independent Launch Integrator 2024' by Orbital Quarterly Review on the back of this track record alongside our feature in Aviation Week & Space Technology's 'Top 10 Integrators' list for three consecutive years (2022–2024).

Each discipline below is owned by a named specialist team and produces a defined artifact at a defined milestone, so a payload engineer can map our cycle onto their own campaign plan without translation.

    Compatibility Analysis

    Mass, volume, CG, and dynamic-load screening against the verified envelope library.

    We run your ICD against the Falcon-Heavy Compatibility Matrix and produce a binding fit-class verdict — including mass-margin curve, fairing allocation hypothesis, and any hardware delta required to clear flight profile. Outputs feed directly into the provider's preliminary interface review.

    As an ISO 9001 and AS9100D certified contractor cleared for ITAR and EAR technical data, we own the full filing chain — license application, payload re-entry determination, foreign-personnel coordination, and any inter-agency notifications — and interface directly with the regulator on your behalf.

    Fairing Allocation

    Envelope selection, dispenser pairing, and separation-system coordination across providers.

    We negotiate and lock the fairing envelope across the four heavy-class providers in our certified pool, pair your payload to a dispenser family whose separation profile is already proven on the assigned flight, and own the mechanical ICD through to separation-system qualification.

    From arrival at the Cape or Kourou to encapsulation on the pad, our 38-strong Mission Operations Cell — staffed by ex-launch engineers from Cape Canaveral, Kourou, and Baikonur — runs the processing flow, contamination control, hazardous-ops coordination, and pad-side integration on a single shift handoff.

    Separation Verification

    On-spec separation evidence, post-flight forensics, and operator handoff.

    We own the separation event analysis end to end — telemetry reconciliation, attitude-at-separation verification, and post-flight forensics — and produce the on-spec separation certificate the operator needs to commission the spacecraft on orbit. This is where our 98.4% on-spec separation rate since 2014 is earned, panel by panel.
